How we handle your data.

The Growth Playbook is a free business diagnostic, built for founders who can sense something is off in their business but can't always name it. It scores your company across nine critical areas — strategy, position, sales, customer experience, team, numbers, governance, offer and the founder — and gives you a structured, honest read on where you stand.

Our aim is simple: give founders a sharp, useful tool that surfaces the weak spots before they cost real money. No consultancy upsell, no signup wall, no fluff. Just twelve minutes to a clearer picture of the business.

When you take the diagnostic, we collect:

• Your name, email, business name and (optional) phone number — entered by you on the results gate.
• Your diagnostic answers and scores — the 47 statements you score, your category averages, and your archetype.
• Marketing consent — whether you opted in to follow-up emails.
• Technical data — your IP address and browser user-agent, stored for security and abuse prevention.

We don't use cookies for tracking. We don't run advertising pixels. We don't share data with analytics or advertising networks.

We collect your data for three reasons, and three reasons only:

• To deliver your diagnostic report. We email your PDF and store your results so you can return to them later.
• To follow up — if you opt in. If you tick the marketing consent box, we may occasionally email you with playbook resources, retake reminders, or related content. You can unsubscribe at any time, instantly, from any of those emails.
• To improve the diagnostic. We look at aggregate score patterns to refine the interpretations and archetype logic. Individual data is never published or shared in this analysis.

Your data is stored in our WordPress database, hosted in the UK by Hostinger. PDF reports are stored on the same server. Email delivery is handled by FluentSMTP via Hostinger's mail server.

All transfers are encrypted using HTTPS. Database access is restricted to authorised administrators only.

We keep your diagnostic data indefinitely by default — so you can return to your results at any time. If you'd prefer it deleted sooner, just email admin@growthplaybook.co.uk and we'll remove your record within 7 days.

If you opted into marketing emails and unsubscribe, we keep a record of the unsubscribe (so we know not to email you again) but delete the rest of your contact data within 30 days.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access your data — ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you.
• Correct your data — tell us if anything's wrong and we'll fix it.
• Delete your data — ask us to remove your record entirely.
• Withdraw consent — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
• Complain — to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe we've mishandled your data.

We do not sell, rent or trade your data. Full stop.

The only third party who processes your data on our behalf is:

• Hostinger — hosting the website, database and email delivery.

If we ever need to add a new processor — a CRM, an email marketing platform, an analytics tool, anything — we will email you first and ask. That's the promise at the top of this page.

If we update this policy, we'll change the “Updated” date at the top of the page. If the changes materially affect how your data is handled, we'll email everyone on our list to flag it.
